Been watching the last two nights and although i don't usually watch CMT there has
been a wealth of good steel playing on the 100 Greatest Country and 100 Greatest Country Duets shows. Don't know who it was, but they were playing their tail off. Lots
of good licks and runs. And SURPRISE!! some of the younger cats and chicks can sing the
he$$ out of the old country. Joe Nichols and Lee Ann Womack were great together. This probably won't happen again for a long time, but it was great to see and hear. TJH |

Thurlon, this sheds some light as I had the opportunity to view the last part of this program. The late Hal Rugg was the guest of honor and how truly talented this gentleman was. A great loss indeed!

David,
You are correct. That was our dear departed Hal on 100 Greatest and me on the 100 Greatest Duets.
All the best,

Gee Tommy, that means I missed the other 50% of the treat by not seeing you on the duets program. I will keep an eye out in hopes they will re-air the program. Always great to hear your playing! Best of luck in this new year.
