Anyone know Bill Towery?

I knew a young man in the early 70's that was an excellent steel player at 16. He was from San Benito, Tx. I can't locate him. Last time I saw him was the early 80's in Harlingen, Tx. Just wondering if anyone knew of him or where he might be.
