I had the very nice experience this past weekend of opening up for Buddy Jewell at the Grizzly Rose club in Denver Co. Of the many acts we have opened for in the past year or so, none compare to this show. Buddy sings great, the band performs well musically, and entertains with energy. The best part of the show to all of us here though is the very fine playing of Dave Ristrim. He is very accurate, has good speed, plays with emotion, and is an all around great player and a great person (not to mention he plays a Carter!). This also was the most non-arrogant group I have ran across lately. Dave, you guys were great and we had a blast working with you. Don't spend a lot of time with that maniac on Bass though (Ha)!! I hope to do it again. |

Thanks George. You guys sounded awesome. I liked your version of "One In A Row" better than the one we did. I hope we get to work together again. Oh yeah, Rich is a nut!

Knowing Dave from his San Jose days, I for one know Dave isn't capable of a bad performance, IMO ..... |

Barry, you dog. How are you my friend? I hope all is well in So Cal. Hi again George, yeah, I put out a Cd about ten years ago. Buy it from the Forum, 'cause that way Bob can keep it going. I hope to start my new Cd this winter. Stay tuned for updates on the Forum.
Peace to all,
Dave |
