'Can't find much about "The Outsiders" (Rodney's current band), on his site.

Any steel in this lineup?

He's playing some small clubs in Portland and Seattle 9/28-29.

Probably not. Did'nt have a steelplayer in Norway this summer, but it was a great (rock)-band!

Definitely no steel on the tour, and little to none on his last 3 albums; he's gotten pretty far away from the "Diamonds and Dirt" era. Great songs though, and a fantastic band.

Saw him last week in Austin - no steel, but great band and a great show
Definitely not country, though - not that there's anything wrong with that!

This guy will be playing lead guitar for Rodney. He is a great songwriter and guitarist also. Rodney will put on a great show with or without a steel.
