I'm certain that most people, like I, pass up on some of the url websites that are posted in threads here on the forum. I always try to see what others are doing and eventually get around to trying to go to the listed websites.

Such was the case with Hook Moore's site and I would have missed out on some super picking and singing. I've finally managed to get back to Howard Tate's site, and another surprise. I'm continually amazed by the talent of some of our forumites. Check out Howard's site and tell me if you don't think this guy is "an old smoothie". Here's the site:

Good Job Howard.

That's really nice of you, Fred, and you've sure got the old part right. I need to update it, I guess. Most of the songs were done on my Les Paul because the steel stayed in the case for years, until I found the forum. Now the Les Paul stays in the case, so I should put some steel stuff on there. This forum has brought me back to life.

And DSSGA is proud to have Howard play at our sessions here in Gulfport, Ms. Even though Katrina touched us pretty good, we will have our music on Oct. 1st. This will not be a structured program, we just want to do our best to give some musical relief to the Army Corp of Engineers who are quartered in the VFW building and maybe raise a few bucks to donate to the VFW to purchase steaks etc and feed the workers hot food, etc. Thanks, and Howard will not leave his steel in the case this time...

Glad you're alive and kicking Bill, I'll be there if I possibly can.
