Our lead singer wanted me to learn "Loose Talk".. the Carl Smith 1954 version. It has a latin beat and goes to 2/4 on the bridge. This was a real golden era for the steel. Lot's of 3 and 4 chord stuff that you can figure out without tab. Good for newbie steeler's getting use to pushing A & B while making melodies. Another good one we are learning is "Let Old Mother Nature Have Her Way".... about the same era. The folks really seem to like these uplifting sounds around here.
