I would like to thank all of you for all your replys on wallace truetone pickups.A lot of good info.I decided the best way to make my MSA sould like a old SHO-BUD was just to buy a old shobud,so I did. Sounds great.

I would venture to say that the best way to make any guitar sound like an old Sho-Bud would be to buy an old Sho-Bud.

For sure! Well, at least until technology gets the modeling thing down. Imagine a steel with a knob like the Variaxe that has presets like 62 Emmons, Sho-Bud Pro I, Fender 400, etc.

Till then, the knob will be the wallet--full of long green!
