I heard a steel player in Vegas many years ago. He was w/ Buck Owens. Had a lot of Mooney's licks and a bunch of his own. IMHO I would love to learn that style. Anyone out there know or have heard him. Am new but ready to learn and listen to all of you excellent members. I have learned so much just reading this forum.

If it means anything..... Jerry (Jay) McDonald was working for Buck in 1961 and 1962. That is the time that I knew him and saw him often. I don't know how long he worked for Buck after that.
