Does Andy Griggs travel with a steel player? I'll be opening for him in late July. I'm sorta embarrassed, I know nothing about this guy. Has he been around long? Is he contemporary country? Have any hits? Nice guy? A jerk? Anything at all?

Chris, it is the famous, hilarious, great "kid wonder">>>>> Chad Udeen! A wonderful player and a incredible person! Go see him and have him do his "Bobbe Seymour" impersonation!
Can't say enough good about Chad,

Bobbe

Ya know, I think I may have one of his old guitars (if my poor memory is correct about what the guy who I bought it from told me). It's a green Fessenden with a cross inlay on it. Thank you for the reply Mr. Seymour, I most certainly will ask him to do the impression.

Chris,
I met Andy backstage at the Opry a couple years ago. He was very nice to me and very humble.
Andy is one of favorite country singers!
Type in www.andygriggs.com to read more.
Oh yeah, he's even better looking in person!

Thank you Ms. Galbraith, although I admit I'm not too concerned about the good looking part, LOL!!!!!!! I'm guessing that since you met him at the Opry a couple years ago, he's been around a while. I'll go ahead and check out the web-site you referred me to.

Hopefully Mr. Udeen won't show up until after I'm done playing. Otherwise he's gonna be mighty bored listening to me recycle the only 4 licks I know over and over and over.

Why? Chad only knows four licks himself! (tell him I said that!)
Chris, I'm sure you are a fine player, as is Chad, he is a great guy to talk with and to listen to play.

And yes, I think the gree Fessenden was his, I remember him bringing it by here for me to see it once.

Chris, stop whining! Just think about what you did at my home last time you were over. My wife is still blaming me for setting a bad example.

I must have ingested my refreshing adult beverage too quickly therefore giving way to the earth shaking belch that escaped me. I'll come by sometime for a repeat performance, just warn me if your wife is around or not.
