Could it be feasible to have a list of all Forum members in alphabetical order? Or would this be too costly and/or high maintenance? Maybe this has been brought up before.

I'm sure that b0b has a list of all members, but why would anybody want a complete, alphabetized list of the entire forum membership? If you've got some info for the Forum to share, just post it. If you're looking for a particular member, inquire on the forum---it's AMAZING how many replies you'll get. I don't want my name and address given out at random anymore. I get enough junk mail and spam!!

onlinesteelers.com

There is no list of Forum members. Each Forum member's record is kept in a separate file.

And www.onlinesteelers.com is a registry of those steel players who WISH to list themselves so that other steelers can contact them.

It is a dynamic site (Cold Fusion) which means that the information is NOT available for spambots to harvest. You must query the database to access the information and it is then displayed on your machine at that time only.

Hey Curt,
Ah, if it's the number of members of the Forum that you're after, that info IS available on the entry page to the Forum, in the upper right hand corner. As of today, the count is 5,078.

I think I know why George isn't interested in being listed - I SWEAR this is the TRUTH . . .
I received an email from someone who says she is a Forum "reader" - NOT member. She wanted to know if I knew if George would be at Scotty's this year AND if I knew why he doesn't answer her emails. She went on to say that she knew for a fact that he wasn't married, and really wanted to meet him!

I guess it's pretty much official - I predicted Johnny Cox and Joan's marriage the VERY day they met - It was in their eyes!! So, George, take those Foster Grants off so I can see YOURS!!

Need a love-connection? Just write Dear Donna!

Oh my goodness...i did get a few goofy emails, one i sent to Bob Carlucci to read. It scared the hell out of him to..he called it "Freaky". I use Yahoo mail for the forum. And NOT my personal email address. As i can change it easy enough if i have to. And Donna, i have a girlfriend, been with her for almost 20 years. I sure don't need another. So i'll pass on the dating service...no e harmony. com needed here ..but thanks for the offer of help. I am aware of the person you are talking about. Lets just say, we are "Watching this situation, very closely". Don't forget guys..you are vulnerable. I love getting mail from steel players. I would sure hate to have to take my email address off..but looks like i may have to. And have my current one changed. Thanks Donna for the heads up. And i have my Postal Mail forwarded to a P.O Box, and my address is a "Community" address to answer your other concerns.

Actually, George - this does sound a little spooky. We just NEVER know, do we?

I'm glad I had the good sense to send her Steve Gambrell's address rather than yours, since he's a little Quirky - even wears atee shirt that says "Tell Larry Steve says Hi." Maybe I'll send her Larry's address, too. Of course if she's sending gifts, maybe I'll send her mine, too!!!

Just a piece of trivia! Smiley Roberts and I have been good friends since the early ’60's and I have no idea what his address is, although he comes by to visit me occassionally at my home! But that goes for several other members also!
