After about a year of toiling away on bass, the band leader has a oppertunity to pick up a different bass player alowing me to slide on over to the steel chair (pun intended)!!

Should be a good band, it already is. Interesting dynamic, as I will be the youngest member by far. The guitarist, drummer, and bass player are all old enough to be my father and the singer is 8 or 9 years my senior. Quite atypical I should say.

I'm pumped! Might mean a few less gigs for me as they probably won't want me on some of the lesser paying gigs. But that's fine, I'm gonna need the practice time. And, a little more time with the family is always good.
