If anyone is interested. My playing was so so, but the writing and singing by O.C. Clinton is very good. I think it's a very good, very country song. "She's not crying anymore" is the song. http://rthigpen.com/occ/

Nice pickin. I lived in Leesville for a couple years around 1994. Didn't have any idea there was another steel player in town.

Thanks, Steve (or Mongo). I've only been here since 1997. There is a long time steeler here, Reverand T.A.Gibson. He only plays in church. There are others in the area but not Leesville. I live 17 miles from town, out in the wilderness.

Thanks Billy, I value your opinion. I know the playing is not great, but I thought the tone of the Zum thru the Vegas 400 via a Shure sm58 and small mixer into my sound card recorded well. I do think the singing was very good, as was the writing. I've never met the singer, he sent a cd and I added steel using Power Tracks.
