Unless there are TWO John MCGanns playing steel and teaching music, our own one just released a DVD about training your rhythmic skills that got a very positive write-up in the new June 2005 edition of Guitar Player magazine, p. 102. If I can ever figure out how to make my DVD player work, I might even buy this, as I am suffering grievously trying to figure out how those Indian musician guys do that stuff. |

John did a fantastic job in teaching the material. The DVD was one of my all-time most fun projects to produce. GP couldn't have given us a better thumbs up. Thanks for binging it to my attention. |

Thanks guys. The DVD would never have happened without the amazing expertise and artistry of Andy Volk and Lyle Sorensen. My part of the job was easy; those guys put in tons of sweat equity (as well as the other kind!) to make it happen. I am really proud of the job they did on this project; the production values are really top notch, and I hope the content lives up to the beautiful presentation!
