Unless there are TWO John MCGanns playing steel and teaching music, our own one just released a DVD about training your rhythmic skills that got a very positive write-up in the new June 2005 edition of Guitar Player magazine, p. 102. If I can ever figure out how to make my DVD player work, I might even buy this, as I am suffering grievously trying to figure out how those Indian musician guys do that stuff.

John did a fantastic job in teaching the material. The DVD was one of my all-time most fun projects to produce. GP couldn't have given us a better thumbs up. Thanks for binging it to my attention.

Thanks guys. The DVD would never have happened without the amazing expertise and artistry of Andy Volk and Lyle Sorensen. My part of the job was easy; those guys put in tons of sweat equity (as well as the other kind!) to make it happen. I am really proud of the job they did on this project; the production values are really top notch, and I hope the content lives up to the beautiful presentation!
