Any of you Branson guys know who Gene Mulvaney is? He used to play at country tonight and is just a great multi-instrumentalists (steel of course). Anyway, he doesn't play with that show anymore (nobody does, somethin happened, wouldn't mind the scoop on that if anyone knows). I am curious if anyone knows who he is playing with now. I just remember talking to him after one of the shows and he was just a really cool guy and would like to go check him out again.
thanks,

Gene is playing with the Ray Stevens Show in Branson.
He is a great musician. He plays equally well on stand up steel, and also lead guitar.
Good guy too!!!!!!!!!

Steve,
Gene was one of the first Steel players that I met when I "Packed up" and moved to Branson to play. At the time,(1998) Gene was playing for the (Now Decesed) 'Ol "Boxcar" Himself. And, Yes, Terry, How right you are, Gene can "Thro Down" on his Fender "Tripod." He plays some of the Best Steel around up there in Branson. One Note though, Guys.....I watched the RFD Channel the other night and the show was called "Branson Jam" and I THOUGHT I saw Gene playing a BASS for the "Featured Group," BUT......CORRECT ME here if I Need GLASSES.
