I got to hear Don play some great steel with Dale last night. This guy's playing is so refreshing to me. Tasteful, inventive, just downright entertaining! I loved him with the Souvenirs, and he is a great fit with Dale.

He also told me he had some great recent video of Lloyd Green. I think I understood him to say that it was taken during the recording of Dale's new album. Boy, would we like to see that?

One my favorites. He used to blow my mind up here in Seattle... He would sit in with all sorts of different bands in many genres and he always added something fresh.
Seattle's loss is Austin's gain!

Next time any of ya'll see Don Don with Dale; ask him to show you how he can play steel guitar with his Teeth> yep his Teeth; it's pretty cool man.
Also; he has the perfect wood bar for the perfect piano sound, so ya gotta check that out too......I'm so proud of Don and he's doing my recent chair; a big Justice in a big way.

Don's been posted on before, and I probably said the same thing: He's got one of the best tones (he was playing an old ShoBud) of anyone I've ever heard; and, he was the one who talked me into learning C6th.

Don's a great guy and a fantastic player (I miss doing those double steel Buckarooster gigs). He is missed. Although I've got to say my country session work has increased since he moved to Austin.
