I saw an old Wilburn Bros show last night
on the RFD channel. Based on the Fender amp Don was playing I would say it about
a 1965 show. The audio and video was
superb, Don played a D/10 Sho-Bud.
The best part was when the fiddle was taking a break on a song and then Don
did the second half. The camera guy stayed with the fiddle player and the fiddler was
rolling his eyes to get the camera guy to cut to Don. I noticed that his Sho-Bud
never had any endplates on it.
Pop Goes The Country with Ralph Emery followed after the Wilburn Bros show. They never once showed the band but I know I heard Lloyd Green playing superbly.
Did anyone else catch this?

never miss it. That was Buddy Spicher(sp?) on the fiddle. He never stopped smiling. funny! Good woodwork on the Sho-bud body Mr. Emmons. Did Ira Louvin do the inlay work?
