8 string Sierra, about 15 years old, like new. 5 pedals and 2 knee levers. Any feedback would be welcome.

I have an 8 string from about 1980. It "was" a Sierra Rockslide. When originally built, it was a stand-up machine, with a special stand, and was operated using hip levers. Deceased forum member Harold Leach, of Eckville Alberta, converted it to a sit-down pedal steel with 3 pedals. It is a "Crown" series steel. Don Christenson (Sierra owner at that time) indicated that about 10 were made.
Modern players don't seem to like these things. Mine went unsold for a long time. However, the retro players seem to like them.
