Hello all,
In response to a post I inserted a few days ago concerning my being (at last) happy with my tone I was contacted by
Ted Seluskey who spoke very informatively of all things concerning steel.Ted very kindly sent me a clip of his playing at a show in Dallas and I was most impressed,I believe Ted also does teaching and I would recommend Forumites to have a listen to him.
Perhaps if Ted reads this he will post a clip for the Forum.
Best regards

It's Ted "Solesky".
Ted is a great player and has been for years. He and I are both from the cental Pennsylvania area. I remember back in the mid 60's, Ted was "the man" on steel in the local area. I was working in a band from York (I was trying to play lead guitar) and our Steeler, Harry "Hap" Hatterer was traveling to Lebanon to take lessons from Ted. Ted was playing a ZB back then. |

I know Teddy and he has some of the best original licks and absolutly the best tone I've heard. Wish I'd met him yrs ago cause I'm from Allentown Pa and I sure could have learned alot from him. Thanks Teddy! |
