Does anybody know what happened to this guy? Used to play at the Buckboard in Marietta, GA with AJ & Swamp Creek.

Randy is touring with Montgomery Gentry. Has been with them for several years now.

Wendell, you may not know that Randy had a terrible car wreck some years back. I followed him into the Buckboard gig... he had a long hard road in recovery and thankfully got his magnificent playing skills back and got back in the saddle. Great player and a wonderful guy. I think he plays more on his Rickenbacher 6 than on pedal with M.G. these days.

Back in '03 I was fortunate enough to get to Nashville a couple of times a month. When M.G. wasn't touring I was lucky enough to catch Randy at Legends Club. He's a great guy and a terrific picker. I always hope to catch him and some of my other "heroes" when I get to visit!

I've been out of GA since 1995. I used to go hear him quite a bit back then. Used to go hang out with Tritt at Ms. Kitty's in the early days also!
