One of the most impressive works by a steel guitarist can be heard on Ray Stephen's "Misty"! The arangement, tone & consistent level can be non other than the great "Weldon Myick".....this guy is a true master!!!!

Delbert, Weldon Myrick is a great steel player with the qualities you have mentioned. However, Jay Dee Maness was the steeler on that song. It looks like he has the same qualities as well. I might mention when I saw your name and where you are from it amazed me. My wife is from Willis, Texas as well. I brought her to North Texas in 1993.
