Last week I was asked to do a Patsy Cline stage show in Dublin 28th March -28th April . It turned out that the fixer was only asked to get a price for Irish Musicians as the Texas based Musicians would'nt come to Ireland for their usual $ 85 a night . They have agreed to come for 100 euros a night . I know we all have to make a living but that sounds rediculous to me !!! Do these guys know how much stuff costs here ? Are they going to bring their own food? |

That's about $130 US a night, right?
Is that what you're being offered? It should include meals, shared accomidation, and transportation.[This message was edited by Joey Ace on 31 January 2005 at 02:52 PM.] |

Union scale, when I was on the road with a Broadway show, was $1600.00 for 8 performances, plus $400.00 per diem plus 10% Health and Welfare, and 10% musicians pension. That was 1993-1995. It must be more by now with cost of living raises. I wish you the best. |
