Who played on this Kenny Loggins hit?

"Even thought we hain't got money I'm so in love whicha honey..."

(For years I thought it wuz a gurl that sang this tune.)

A girl DID sing it: Anne Murray
But that was after the Loggins & Messina version. As I recall Rusty Young played steel on that album ('Sittin' In').

I saw those guys in a small club in Houston in 1972. Messina is still one of my favorite guitar players.
