Dear Friends,

Two great historical photos have been added to the website www.lloydgreentribute.com (see the "Photos" page) plus some detailed remarks from Lloyd about one of the important events in steel guitar history - the making of the famous Sho-Bud LDG. You'll see Lloyd's Baldwin Sho-Bud which was converted into a single neck before the first real LDG was made.

Lloyd's comments are taken from a correspondence he had with our expert Ricky Davis. Lloyd, thanks so much for the permission to use your comments!

Also, Ricky, if you want to add some more technical details (you are the expert ), please jump in!

Kind Regards, Walter

No, Lloyd is back playing the L.D.G. For a while, He played a J.C.H. steel though. Now it's just like old times...He's back on the "Green Machine"!
