Hi all
happy new year to everyone from a new member. I've just taken up C6 lap steel and have been reading through the forum, trying to soak up as much info as I can cram into this befuddled dollop of porridge I use as a brain. That thread on modal theory is a stunner! I'll let you know when I can express myself fully on a I, IV, V. Maybe in 2055. I'll be 99 then.......

John, Welcome to the forum. The first steel I played was a 6 string lapsteel tuned to C6. That was 50 years ago. I still learn something most everytime I get to practice. My, how pedals open up a new world.

Hey John welcome.

I was there during much of the threadzuilla creation and I still go.. HUH.... Whoah regularly.

Denny opened the door very wide,
and Rick and several others nailed it open to the barn door.
The livestock are out and running free.
