Hi Jennings,
I knew Danny Jones very well but didn't know that he was deceased.
He is or was a fine steel player. When I was with Conway we toured a lot with the Bellamy Bros back in the 70s and that's where I met Danny.
Sure is a surprise to me to hear that he is deceased.

John, thanks for your reply to my question..I did not know Danny personally, but aagood friend and steel player, Connie Burton King knwe him well..Well enough that he gaver her lessons and sold her his personal steel sjut before he died, about a year ago , I believe. Connie speaks very highly of him and she loves the steel he sold her, a JHC . E9 on a double frame or neck. Simular to a LDG, so I am told..I do not know what was the cause of Danny's death, except to say that it was unexpected, no accident or anything of that sort..John , how is your knee or leg getting along? Well I pray. Thanks for your info, and e-mail me wboss65@ucnsb.net and we wont tie up the forum...I have the Emmons D 10-10-10 that Ron Lashley told me belonged to Conways Lead Guitar player.... I have forgotten his name. Happens when you geet old, and get the CRS syndrome...Looking forward to hearing from you, Best reguards and appreciation for your music, kindness , and friendship..Jennings....

WE PLAY STEEL FOR THE BEAUTIFULL ANGELIC SOUND OF IT....
