John, have you available, or do you have any plans on putting out a tab book for your gospel album, He Touched Me? If it is available, I am going to tell Santa Claus where he can get it. Thanks. |

Maybe Santa has an elf who can do tabs for good little boys and girls? |

George, I was talking to Mrs. Hughey at St. Louis this year and she said eventually they plan to have tab available for all of John's albums. Like you, I can't wait for tab for the He Touched Me album. IMHO the best album John Hughey ever recorded. |

George,
I don't have the tab for the "He Touched Me" CD at this time but Doug Jernigan has the CD in his hands as I right this and he is going to tab it for me.
I do have the Tab book on the CD "John Hughey". Doug tabbed it for me. You can go to my website: www.johnhughey.com and get the ordering info
Tommy, thanks for the nice compliment on the "He Touched Me" CD. I appreciate it very much.

I don't know about the rest of our forumites, but when I see a question answered by one of the GREATS (Mr. Hughey) I get such a strange feeling. It is not often that one finds oneself in the presence of greatness. Writing from so far away (South Africa), I'm sure you'll understand my feeling. You guys are so lucky to experience the live playing of players like Mr Hughey.

I agree, I think John Hughey is one of the most talented and revered musicians ever. I hope that he will come back this way someday. |

That's just the way John Hughey is; he fully meets the "Prerequisite for Greatness" I described in the following thread some months ago.

Nic du Toit,
It is my hope, that someday you will meet, and hear Mr. Hughey play. I have had the pleasure of both and to say that it is a marvel to watch him play is an understatement...
John, you da man," He Touched Me" did just that.
