From the detail you go into on some of your answers to questions here and in the old "Ask Buddy" section of your site, it seems to me as though you might really enjoy doing a book - both history, and technique. Of course the audience is very finite - something it's easy to forget, in our enthusiasm - but some of the new publishing techniques no longer require a big press run to make a book profitable. You would be doing us all a great service.

Excellent idea. Buddy, if Tommy Lee can do it, so can you!

Buddy, considering your life & work behind the bar, it would be quite significant for you to offer us some good essential reading
writing a book is not an easy task & can take quite a bit of time
i'm sure w: someone's help it could be accomplished
i'm pretty sure you can swing it cause many times here you have shown just how vivid your memories are
your musical legacy is tremendous - sure would be neat to have your testimony of all those great times & places
whadda ya' say Buddy ?

If it's good enough for Jerry Byrd, it's good enough for Big E!

Just get a mini tape recorder,
and jaw bone with some old friends about the past,

And then hand it to some person who can type the dictation
into a word processor file.

If you do this peridoically you will have a ton of good stuff to edit and add too.

Plus that will give you ideas of what to add that you missed.
