New Products Pickups & Preamps

Has anyone tried any of the following new products out there on their Weissenborn style, acoustic guitar or resonator guitar instruments - and can you provide an assessment?

1. Duncan-Turner Acoustic Research DTAR blender preamps.

2. Fishman reso-pickup on a biscuit-style resonator

3. Pickup the World Lace/NT system: the out of the box systems sound like they would be an awesome combination of magnetic and film pickup - however, the magnetics will probably not line up perfectly with a Weissenborn style if it has wider string spacing.

4. Schertler DYN-G pickup

I have not tried the Fishman biscuit style, but there is no reason to look further than the Highlander for biscuit cones. It is the best pickup I have ever heard. It sounds better than using an expensive studio mic. You need no preamp, no tone control, nothing. I wish I could find pickups this good for my Spider reso
