Since this section is about steel guitarists and their music, I would like to recommend Nic's latest CD (Nightmare on Emmons Steel).
It has great selection of 17 songs. See the titles here.
Nic's one of the best players in Africa, and always willing to help a newbee getting started.
This is a great idea for a Christmas present.
I know you'll enjoy it.

Hi guys,
Nic has made new MP3 examples for all 17 songs! Give it a listen and buy yourself a great Christmas present. Or buy the CD for a friend.

All MP3 samples are here.

Yep Henry,
I would love to, and Nic too.
You'll love his Afrikaans!

Maybe Nic should get a "Nic"-name like Buddy Green???

Hey Nic, just listened to the sound bites and you did a fantastic job on this and the other Cds you were involved in. Man that Eagles band would be my ultimate gruop to work with! Guys you gotta check out everything on his site, great stuff. Damn if I could find drummers and bass players like that here, I might start playing out again.I would like to get All the tracks from your new album and you might consider making them avail with the CD cause there are alot of us that dont or cant use tab and I know alot of players that offer the tracks almost automatically sell a R/T Cd along with the main one. I also listened to the other recordings you were involved in and they're as good if not better than alot of "PRO" work I've heard. Let me know about the tracks so I can get an order in, Thanks Skip
