my thoughts is i think buddy emmons, lloyd green, jimmy day & tom brumley and jerry byrd are some of the guys that make music that comes from the heart, brains, hands, feet and the knee's and a whole lot more players also stand out, but when it comes to c6th chalker is the man, there are so many i like them all and forgot about hughey, oh man this is to hard someone add something to this, oh well got to quit. |

Jerry ,
All of who you mention are my favorites, there is a fovorite BE tune, a favorite JD tune, etc, etc, but when it comes to reaching in to your heart, nothing, and I mean nothing beats being front row within arms reach when Mr. Hughey does "look at us" or just sitting and listening to his verson of The Old Rugged Cross on his "He Touched Me" CD,scuze me gotta get a tissue.

Hi Jerry,
I can't pick just one tune from each of the players you mentioned. They all have recorded too many great tunes. YIKES!
