Hello.
Many years ago I was in contact with Norm Bodkin,and the Australian Steel guitar club.Got all of Norm`s records,exept one.I don`t remember if this was a 45,and/or a course.If anyone out there has a copy,and will like to sell,or trade,please drop me a line.
The 45 is "Sign on/The old rugged cross"

Egil, I`d suggest you try to contact a Larry Hannigan in Australia, he may be able to assist you in this..he was responsible for bring to Aust. people like Doug Jernigan and De Witt Scott for seminars and was also president of the Australian Steel guitar magazine last I heard..if I can find an address for you I will but at the moment all my papers ect. are in packing boxes just arrived from Aust. and I haven`t got around to unpacking them yet....keep in touch and let me know how you make out.Hope this might help you somehow.

I have this LP,it`s a good one too.Many good steelers in Au.!
I will still try to find the old 45 tho,one of the songs from it are not on this LP.

Egil,
I see Norm's son every so often when the NSW Police Band plays @ Darling Harbour in Sydney where I work (he's the bass player). Give me your address, in case he hasn't got email, and I'll ask him about this.
