Hi,
I don't want to take up space on the forum so e-mail me at hmmacey@msn.com. I was listening to old records and came across a record done in Nashville by Denver country singer Randy King.

Side A of the record is "Laugh a Little" and side B is "Consider Me Gone". Great record and great steel playing! Does anybody remember this record? If so, do you remember who's playing steel guitar. Also, does anybody know Randy King's whereabouts?
Who would have been doing studio steel guitar work in Nashville in those days? This record was simple but very well done. I was told that the piano player was "Pig somthing"??.

Thanks!

H Macey

Hey Howard,

You are not wasting space here, this is what the forum is for!

There is a chance that the player might have been Lloyd Green who did hundreds and hundreds of sessions with artists that never made it real big. This does definitely not mean that the music is bad!

As for the piano player, that's most likely Hargus "Pig" Robbins, another one of the famous Nashville "A" team.

Kind Regards, Walter

Hi Walter,
Your right it was Loyd Green, Hargus "Pig" Robbins,Anita Kerr singers, Buddy Speicher as well as others. Thanks Smiley for forwarding my post to Randy. He sent me a real nice email and told me who did the session. He seems to be doing well.

Howard
