Whoever it was, he should be shot for allowing the steel guitar to be associated with a bunch of losers like that....JH

Seeing what a screw-up Bush is, I'll take my chances with the Dems.

I hope he got Big Bucks for doing it.
I'll try not to hold it against him.

I sense political tendencies in this thread, anyone want to add some religious overtones?

Mr. Howard,

Bush a screw up??????

Let's see who the screw ups were on the platform last night.

Jimmy Carter--this guy is the original screw up who let the Islamic jerkoffs kidnap American citizens and get away with it. This might be the start of all this crap with Bin Laden and his clan. Islamists were tremendously emboldened by what the Iranians did. You think the Spanish were the first country that voted out a candidate because of Islamic terrorism---not. The USA was when it voted in Ronald Reagan as a result of the Iranian hostage crisis, only it turned out to be for the better.

Al Gore. Could not even carry his own state in the election. He claimed to be the inventor of the internet---duh?!

Hillary Clinton. The most dangerous person in politics. She will go to no end to promote the socialist agenda of the Democratic party.

And lastly, our old sax honkin', intern chasin' screw up buddy Bill Clinton. There is nothing that can be said except total amazement at the idol this man has become to Democrats. He did absolutely nothing about the Islamic attacks on America and our interests and the Democrats have given him a free ride.

Bush a screw up?? Compared to the "Dems" as you say he is the only candidate with any integrity and guts to fight this war we are in unless you have not noticed. You won't get any fight from the Dems. They will go crawling to the corrupt UN or how about to the French/Germans in order to secure the safety and sovreignty of the United States. A lot of help these folks were. Wake up.

Your blanket statement that Bush is a "screw up" won't go unanswered by me.

The orginal topic here (before this political turn) was about some steel player at the convention and this has been turned into a political theme. In getting back to the topic, I would not be surprised if all the walk up music and post speech music is mostly canned.

Mr. Hatcher,

Spare me your righteousness, please. Your beloved leaders Bush/Cheney work for Saudi Arabia, not us.

cheers,
Drew

Since no one cares to answer Bob's legit STEEL RELATED question, I'm closing this.

Sorry Bob.
Congrats to the player, whoever he is.

PS
I asked the late great Jeff Newman several times to join this forum. He reply was always,
