I'd like to apologize to Bobbe for a posting I made in the past. I should have made a greater effort to clear up the situation.

Bobbe has always been there for people, in fact I called him and personally apologized and he accepted my apology and helped me with a modification I'm making to my GFI.

Thanks Bobbe for being an understanding and forgiving person.

Your understanding is only second to your playing.

Dan

Bobbie sometimes comes off like he knows every thing. But if you will listen to him you will find out he knows what he is talking about. He has played for nearly every star in Nashville, and in my way of thiking is one of the best steel guitar players in the business. He has a heart as big as Texas, and will go out of his way to help anyone who will ask for help. He is a good friend ,and I like his attitude. Gene

I'll take this time to add my apology on the worldwide web.

I don't think I've done anything, but if or when I do, I'd like to be "Prepaid".

Everything I've ever asked of him was done immediately, with courtesy, and in the trump suit.

I owe him a favor or two, that's for sure.

Probably the best friend I've ever had without physically meeting him. In fact, I'm sure of it.

Sometimes a man's best resume is a list of people that don't like him.

Not that there are any of those miscreants around here...

I practice more now than ever in anticipation of being held worthy of his acquaintence.

Those rumors about us being sweet on each other are totally without merit.

We were drunk. You just got a little drunker than I did...

Thanks Bobbe. For Everything.

Well, Bobbe isn't the best when it comes to e-mail, but otherwise he's not all bad!

btw...the email thingy is just a little inside joke. Bobbe is an awesome talent and an all around good guy. Now...if he could only learn to play a little thumbstyle on the steel.

I never have met Bobbe in person but have dealt with him by phone and email. He has always been kind and will answer questions. He does have a lot of knowledge and having a music store in Nashville is a plus as well. The thing that amazes me is when he replies to an email I have sent he calls me friend. I hope one day to meet him in person and I want to sit down and buy his lunch and just visit for a little while.

PAUL, to BOBBE, every stranger is just a friend he hasn't met yet. That's what it takes to be the great salesman he is! And of course, beneath that hard, crusty, salesperson exterior, there beats a heart that is...well.. you know!

Bobbe sure can play that stringed monster. Had my DJ rig set up at my Dad's hunting camp on July 4th. We must've listened to "Take Me as I Am", from his "Masters" CD (w/Bobbe and Jimmy Day) about a hunnert times.

Goodness Dan B., I don't need an apoligy.
I take the opinions of others as just that, you know that I feel that you have right to voice your opinion of me, good or bad. You have done both, and that's wonderful. I don't remember what I must have done to provoke you, but I may need to apoligise to you for that.
Lord knows that I probably need to apoligise to several folks on this forum for one thing or another from years past.
I really think that some of the greatest people in the world read this forum, and many of them post here also. I respect everyone and their opinions. I don't agree with everything I read here, and I have differing opinions on may points. But I love hearing your points of view and what you all love and appreciate in the world of steel guitar. (however, I do agree with you a lot also). This forum is a truly wonderful asset to the world of steel guitar. Sure, it makes a lot of folks mad, want to punch, sue, get even and argue, but over all, the out come is usually great. I have met many great friends because of this forum, friends I'll treasure forever.
The final word is, Dan Burnam, Thank you. You are a good human being and I deeply appreciate your humanistic qualities. I am striving to make my own qualities better every day.

Yes, Bobbe....You do need to apologize to me..Back in 1976, I took a friend of mine, Ron Lawrence, to Nashville with me. He is a thumbless pedal steel guitar player. He gave you a great hood ornament. You should have known that I wanted it but you never offered it to me. Jimmy Bryant was a little disturbed with you for not giving it to him, too.
Just kidding, Bobbe. We found you to be a great person and you helped Ron pick out an instrument, but, the band you was with at that motel lounge on Trinity Lane stunk.
The stands for grin, if you didn't figure it out already.

Bobbe, I've got a GREAT story to tell you about the t-shirt you gave me, but it'll have to be told in private
I don't have anything to apologize for, but I do like Bobbe Seymour, warts and all.
How soon is this thread gonna stay open??
