Mike Brown read a my post that said I lost the Logo on my Peavey Nashville 400. He sent me one. No charge, nothing and I did not even
write him asking for one. It is no secret that Mike Brown of Peavey is a great member of this forum and does Peavey a proud job.
Mike this is a public thank you.
Yes he wants to keep the logos on the products but Iam just saying he is good at what he does and I appreciate it.

That's one of the reasons why most of my equipment has "PEAVEY" on it!

It's been so obvious from forum posts that Mike spends a whole lot of his time communicating with, helping, advising, and listening to steelers. I wonder how he gets his regular workload accomplished! Most companies would do well to pay attention to the benefits this level of customer service provides. A shining example of a company and a man who both "get it right". I hope he never retires! |

My son recently needed repairs on a Peavey amp for 6 string. He called Mike and he was amazed that Mike asked him how his Dad was doing and that I knew a guy of Mikes stature on a personal basis. Mike also told my son that Buck Grantham just came in and was in the lobby. Mike makes it his business to know us personally and handle our problems with the utmost service. There is no way Mr Peavey can know how valuable Mike is to his business. Mike treats his job like he owned the business. You just can't beat him!

I'm a big fan of Pevey too. It's funny, last weekend I played three different jobs on one of California's beautiful lakes in Northern California. I happened to look through the mesh to one of my speakers, and for the first time noticed a great big hole in the speaker cone. I mentioned it to my band members and they asked if I had noticed any rattling sound when playing, to which I replied, "No!" That evening while playing I purposely turned off the other amp and jacked my volume up just to see what would happen. Guess what....? It sounded perfect, even with a great big gaping hole in it! "How many other amps would stand up to that kind of punishment", I wonder?

I would like to add to the above. Mike has come to my rescue more than a few times over the years.
I am a Peavey endorser, and I have not only sent stuff to Mike for repair, I have carried it to MS, and waited while they fixed it on the spot. Mike has always gone out of his way to get me whatever, whenever. He is a great asset to Peavey, and the steel guitar community.
and he is also my friend. cya...Ronnie
