I'm not sure which one has been the greater task... learning how to play pedal steel or learning how to use Band In The Box.

I am a long way from mastering either. Here's a link to one of my latest play along tracks with BIAB2004 and Pro Audio 8.

If you can use it, you're welcome to it. Takes a little while to download.

My oldest son & family are moving to Lakeland
in the near future. I'll be down & help you with both! I've played steel since 1946 & used BIAB since Jan of 1996. I have over 2,000 tunes these days & just got a new laptop to use on my first solo gig on Saturday! Hope I can it figured out by then??

Speaking on Band-in-a-Box. Has anyone posted on the web a collection of BIAB backup tracks for common steel guitar and country tunes?

That is really great Doug. Maybe this question should be moved to electronics but what the heck I have to ask. Do you use a seperate sound module. I use a SD-20 and it makes the Roland software that comes with BIAB sound like a toy. No latency to speak of either with the sound module. It would be fun to trade files on here. I really don't have a good Texas Swing back up style.

BTW...I have a CD that came with BIAB when I bought it in Dallas that has over 4,100 songs one it. Lots of steel stuff.
