Hey Jerry, just wanted to say how much I enjoyed your playin Friday night. that Legrand II sure sounded purty. did Ronnie ever get to play? I thought they were closin it down after Mr. Buck got through so we left.
anyway, I really enjoyed all the steel playin, and hope to make it in Oct.
btw- thanks for showin me that lick. I can make the lick fine, but can't figure out where to work it in a song. did you say it would fit in anywhere between a 1 and a 1V chord?

Hi Terry, it was good to get to meet you. Yeah, Ronnie played last and was still burning it up when Carlene and I left to get back home so I could play the Little O' Opry Sat night. That lick has no limits (within reason) as to chord changes or number of measures you play thru. It takes a little thinking ahead to transition out of the lick smoothly, but the more you work with it you will catch on to many uses for it. Maybe we can go over it again in October.
