Hey Bill. Nice steel AND outfits. Do you dress that sharply for every gig? I hope so. I always thought that it was sort of a sign of respect to your fans. Play good music, wear nice clothes, look like you belong on stage.
If you dress like a bum, they should treat ya' like a bum and vice-versa.

Nice picture. One look at that acoustic guitar tells me that the rhythm section won't be drowning out the steel.

Thanks,guys,for the encourageing comments.
Yes, we do make every effort to present a good looking (and good sounding) program for our gigs. Our shows are clock-worked. We watch the singers movements (for example, If he lifts his right foot durin' the middle of a number, that means he's gonna to cut it short for some reason.) and whateven he says during a lull in the program as this can indicate what he/she (yea, we do have female guest performers ever now and then) are going to sing next. He has a habit of straying from the printed program givin to each player. He likes to play the audiance and will change or adjust things to keep their attention.

The reason there isn't a drummer is:
1) He's the one taking the photo.
2) We didn't have a regular drummer at the time of the photo.
3) We have trained more drummers than most schools have. They stay just long enough to realize that we don't want them to play exceedingly loud or it's not all Heavey Medal Head stuff. Two guys didn't even realize what "Brushes" were. When he was informed that they were to be used while playing, they thought we were kiddin'.
So,as you can see,Jerry, we do (train) go through a number of drummers. Good "Country" drummers are hard to find.

Yes, we do play locally. Most of our gigs are Private Parties,Weddings,and other social events. We don't normally play the local Pubs,VFW's or such due to the smoke,drinking and other problems encurred with the enviroment. We did that for a number of years then, decided to go for a more civilized venue. Had some great times and more than a few war stories.
