Tracy Byrd's steeler? Forum member?

He sat in with my old band (the Debbie Elam Band) at the Speed Street festival in Charlotte last weekend... Allyn Love usually plays steel with them, but had to miss this gig. They were opening for Tracy and this nice fella offered to sit in... so they took him up on it and had a great time with him. But they didn't get his name!

Anyone know?

Who was the steeler for Tracy Byrd? We were the opening act for him in Wichita tonight. I stayed for about 7 songs after we were done and I hardly ever heard the steel player. They had 2 guitar players that were very good (maybe they overplayed a bit) but were still very good. Of course, I wanted to hear steel and it just didn't happen. I got frustrated and left. Never did get a chance to meet the steel man but he was playing a black emmons lagrande.
