Anybody know 'Lou Walker' s whereabouts

Lou had a band in Amarillo Texas back in the 60's. Which included Billy Bowman, Gene O'Neil, Shorty Messer (all steeler's at different times). I know Billy and Gene have left us, anybody know Shorty? Last I heard Lou was Arkansas some place.. Just wanted to try and contact him.
