Wayne Dahl or anyone that might know, what instrument of technique is that first slide [F] note in the intro to My Baby Loves me the Way that I am? I have to cover this tune and it just doesn't sound right on steel or slide. I'd be extremely grateful if someone could help out here. Thanks JO

Don't have access to the recording right now since I'm at work, but I played this for quite awhile. I'm pretty sure it's just a slide lick on an electric guitar, maybe a Strat.

You may be right Michael, but I can't replicate the sound. Maybe it's an effect that is used on the recording. Sort of a hollow, low moaning sound. Thanks for your reply.

Hi Jerry

My group does this tune and I play the riff on my Strat in the tune of A I play the upper 3 chord position A to D I dont have a guitar in front of me but Im thinking it's around the 10th fret and the riff is very similar to "I fought the law"
Hope this helps.
