I had posted in the event section but I wanted everyone to know how fine a job Rodger Osburn and the Northeast Oklahoma Steel Association did with the show. It was great with a fine line up of players. The location is perfect. If you get a chance to go, you need to....alot of great steel playing. The guys got me fired up, so I guess Ill drag the old ShoBud out and woodshed some. They really made a guy fell welcome. |

Joe, that is a great club. I hope you will get involved in it and I look forward to your performing at a NEOSGA event soon. I promise you they will welcome you and you will have a blast of a good time. It was great to finally meet you Saturday.

Hey there Joe.Man I apologize for not having more time to visit with you at the show, but I have never been so busy in my life.I usually have someone else take the Emcee duties at our shows, but I decided to take it this time.I'm delighted that you were delighted with what we have to offer and I beg you, please come be with us and help this club with some ideas to make things even better for our players and invited guests. All of our club members would welcome some instructions to improve our playing skills and I know you will help us.Hope to see you soon,Roger

Thank you Rodger, I really enjoyed the show and look forward to spending sometime at the club. I started digging out the tab when I got home. It was nice to get to hear and put faces with forum members. There was some great playing going on. I also enjoyed visiting about the old shobud days. Once again a great run show and you should be proud of how well it came off. Everyone here needs too watch out for Austin. Folks that heard him know what Im talking about. He is 9 years old and was playing a new Mullins with an Evans amp. I know that Jerry was proud of him and to get an invite to the show in Branson in July was great.

Joe, Glad you enjoyed Austin. We are proud of him. Everyone has been great helping him. Buck was sharing licks with him this weekend and Joe was giving him pointers. From the start Roller has been very helpful. It always is good to have him play Dobro with Jerry and Austin on stage. It helps calm mine and Austin's mom's nerves when he is up there with them. It was an HONOR to be invited to the Branson Show in July. We are looking forward to it. Austin loves his Mullens guitar. He want play anything else. Once again thanks. Donna |
