That's the title of another CD I discovered on the German "Cattle" label. Of course I ordered it and got it today. 28 of the tracks are taken from transcribed radio shows from the 50's. Man, there's lots of stuff on there I never heard about! Players include Cecil Campbell, Johnny Sibert, Marvin Carroll, Howard White, Doc Martin, Ben Keith, Don Helms, Cousin Jody, Little Roy Wiggins, Don Davis, Jerry Byrd, Buddy Emmons ("Buddie's Boogie" w/Little Jimmy Dickens' Country Boys)and probably Jimmy Day "Bud's Bounce" w/Cherokee Cowboys and Noel Boggs (w/Spade Cooley).
There are a few players on the album I have never heard about like Ralph Pierce and Dick Dickinson. The sound quality is good if you keep in mind that these recordings come from radio transcriptions.

Aaaaah, Those were the days. When you heard Jonny Sibert, you knew it was Carl Smith, Little Roy, Eddy Arnold. How about Jerry Byrd, Chet Atkins, Dale Potter, they played a lot of sessions at one time as a trio.
Gonna mess right around and tell my age.

Not to forget all those great "Non-Steel" players like Hank Garland, Grady Martin and Tommy Jackson!
