I was just reviewing some old threads in the Tablature section and found this quote:

DVA, I've just gotta meet you some time. We only live about two hours apart and I hope you won't take this the wrong way, but we sound like twin sons of different mothers. Mark Tomeo posted 05 October 2001

Well last evening we finally got to meet- in arlington Virginia of all places. Mark's fine band Case 150 opened for my band Last Train Home... after their set, Mark left his (the infamous Purple) ZumSteel setup, next to my ZumSteel, and a few songs into our set we called him up to play dueling steels with me on a tune called White Train. Originally recorded by a band called the db's, Last Train Home had recorded it for a db's tribute compilation forthcoming,,, but Mark had played on the ORIGINAL!! It was too good an opportunity to pass up!

On LTH's version there is an extended outro steel solo, so Mark and I traded 8's on it for a good long while... call and response, "try to top that, pal", big fun...

somebody took some pix so I expect they will show up here eventually...

It was really fun Mark. Sorry I didn't get to the gig early enough to hang out and shoot the breeze more...

Sounds like too much fun!

I'm still trying to wrap my mind around the twin sons from different mothers thing. I mean, I don't even know where to begin the DNA testing.
