the Forum's own premoderator and jester is the only one i know here on the Fo' that has a PS210.
quite expensive i reckon. now if 25 PS210s were made does that mean there were 25 manuals made?

That's really not a bad price ($65). Old Fender catalogs easily sell for that, and this bit of "memorabilia" is a lot rarer than any catalog they ever produced. With them producing less than 20 of these guitars, there can't be that many manuals around (though I find it hard to believe they would do less than 100 manuals in a printing run). Undoubtedly there were more printed than they needed, but they probably found their way into a dumpster shortly after Fender got out of the steel business.

Hi CrowBear Schmitt:

Your posting says:

"The Forum's own premoderator and jester is the only one i know here on the Fo' that has a PS210. quite expensive i reckon. now if 25 PS210s were made does that mean there were 25 manuals made?"

Who of the Steel Guitar Forum "premoderators" owns a Fender PS-210?

I've had one now for several years (it was a fixer-upper bought on eBay) and I'm finally starting to "fix it up."

I would be interested in knowing the names of anyone that has this instrument. I used to have such a list but I'm afraid it's been lost over the years.

I belive only 15 of the guitars were made by Fender between 1970 and 1973.

As a consumer product, the Fender PS-210 was a dismal failure for that company.

Al, because of my sometimes "moderator impersonator" antics on the forum, Crowbear refers to me as the "pre-moderator."

Al and I had much discussion a few years back when I had won an ebay auction for a 210.

To this day, it is still ahead of it's time.
