Willis, I have 2 of Clinton Gregory's CDs, "IF It Weren't For Country Music" and "Freeborn Man", 1991 and 1992. After that I never heard any more about him. Buddy Emmons is playing steel on them and they really have some good stuff on them.

I met Clinton last year, while working a two-week sub gig w/Tanya Tucker, with whom he is still working. Clinton recorded several albums under Step One and he also has recorded several more killer albums(I believe independantly). Give me a call and I'll see if I can get you a few.

Joe:
Glad you were able to salvage some of Step ones stuff. I don't think it will ever get any better than Emmons and Pennington.
Those swing Cd's were just great.are you going to make the Jam this month?

Thanks to all...this gave me the info I needed.
If you haven't heard Clinton you are missing the best country vocalist out there right now..and some great back up musicians including Emmons on the steel.
