I mentioned the Jerry Byrd book to the wife.
Probably too late, but the Speed West video would be a good one too.

If I could get anything that I wanted for Christmas I would ask for HALF the licks that Buddy Emmons has forgot. I wouldn't want to take away the ones he uses now. I know that this would probably kill me since I would have such an overwhelming amount of knowledge packed in to this little pee brain of mine. But, what a way to go.... Merry Christmas to everyone.

I told my wife all I wanted for Christmas was two days in Nashville hanging around Bobbe's shop trying to learn how they do it.
Her reply, "Ros of Ruck"
Merry Christmas to all and please be careful.

John M., would those be lamb chops or pork chops? I like both, myself.

Merry Christmas, y'all.

to have LEON RHODES once again discover me and get me a four week gig on the Opry with other great vocalists...like Foley, Williams, Ashmore, Walker, Copas, etc.
To make just one LP with Homer, Jethro, Chet, Dale Potter in the band.
To spend a week with Jerry Byrd in Hawaii.
Is that really too much to ask for? If it is, I'd settle for a lo-time, Cessna 421 with full (new) avionics, auto-pilot with all couplers, etc.

I'll get kicked off of here and on to Buy and Sell, but; I'd like to find a good [even used] Camcorder to use with my webtv unit, so I can Post pictures easier! And, of course; a few GIGS in the New Year! “BJ”

A great woman who loves me dearly and sings like Connie Smith and Billie Holiday.

A 1932 Cord Boattail speedster.
A 1937 Concordia Yawl. (w/ maintenance contract)
Oscar Peterson's 1921 Steinway grand piano.
A much bigger studio with perfect acoustics to put it in.

And Excel with Carl Dixons switching system
.... And all those licks Buddy has forgotten
A Bb6 S-12 Millenium 10+10. And 1/2 of Reece's chops
A D-10 Fulawka 10+10. (w/ a bag of Ed's barbicue spices)

Better Chops and theory.

24 Brauner Valvet mics with 24 Aphex and Avalon Preamps.

The most versital and easy going band on the planet ready to go when ever I get a new song.

A good diet.

The best friends in the world.

Peace and prosperity for all

Now is that too much to ask for?
