Just heard a knocked out version of that on Steelradio and have never heard it done any better since Chalker did it and wondered, "Who Dat"? |

Probably Johnny Cox. He plays it just like Curley and there is an interesting story behind it. Get him to tell it to you sometime, I would probably get it wrong.

Well, the mystery has been solved on the "who" plays this great version. As you can see, I got answers on Chalker, Cox, Stafford and I have all of those but the one name that SteelRadio couldn't give under "unnamed artist" turned out to be Steve Palousek on his great "Jazz & Country" project. I'm really surprised no one could recall this fine player's name to credit this super performance. After burning a buzillion CDs trying to catch it on SteelRadio, I did some research on Scotty's web site and took a chance ordering it and it paid off. Now what do I do with all these CDs? That's all right, don't tell me. Spare me the details, hahaha. |
