This topic has probably been hashed through many times over - but is there a certain tune that ALWAYS puts your mind back on track?
Whether after a bad gig, (which I have enjoyed too many of lately), after a good gig, or just driving down the road to and from my day job, the one song that always cheers me up, gives me inspiration to someday actually learn how to play, and compels me to go sit at my guitar right now is Jukebox Charlie on Lloyd Green's new CD.
I will also listen to Dicky Overby's incredible and masterful work on Johnny Bush's Green Snakes CD over and over again, especially When Did You Stop Lovin' Me, and The Next Voice You Hear.
Hope all is well with everyone, and a million thanks to every single steel guitar player in the entire world for staying with it!

James,
You are absolutely right, there is nothing like that one certain song to put you "back on the track", for me one of these songs is Jimmy Day's "When A House Is Not A Home" from the "All Those Years" album, with all those incredible bar slants and the phrases Jimmy played.
Just by accident I was listening to Paycheck's original version of Jukebox Charlie earlier today, what a great song and what an intro!
Let's keep those songs building us up!
Walter
