if i open a thread on what i see as some problems in the structure of bluegrass music.
I think i have some interesting points, but am afraid i might offend too many people.

Ya mean like a suspicious absence of M7b5th, Aug11th, and Dim9th chords? |

Traditional bluegrass, as practiced by Monroe, Flatt and Scruggs, the Stanleys, etc., is just as structured as, say, flamenco guitar, or the blues. A lot of the "new" stuff sounds the same to me, but it may be because I've been playing this stuff too long ! |
